Budgeting, Accounting and Reporting System (BARS)

This class provides an overview of the GAAP and Cash Basis Budgeting, Accounting and Reporting System (BARS). Specific topics include: (1) overview of BAR System, and (2) coding of revenues (including federal and state grants) and expenditures. This class is not applicable to port, transit, and public utility districts.
**PARTICIPANTS NEED TO BRING THEIR BARS MANUALS**

CPE - 8 hours
Registration fee is $50 (includes lunch)
Registration opens at 7:30 AM. Class begins at 8:00 AM and ends at 4:30 PM.
