• Ch. 39.80 RCW - Contracts for Architectural and Engineering Services

"Architectural and engineering services" or "professional services" means professional services rendered by any person, other than an employee of the agency, contracting to perform activities within the scope of the general definition of professional practice in chapters 18.08, 18.43, or 18.96 RCW . Chapter 18.08 RCW defines the professional practice of architecture. Chapter 18.43 RCW defines the professional practice of engineering and land surveying. Chapter 18.96 RCW defines the professional practice of landscape architecture. Any service that would be provided by one of the above listed professionals, in their capacity as a registered architect, engineer, or land surveyor, should be procured under the provisions of Ch. 39.80 RCW.
