IN THURSTON COUNTY
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON
FOR SPOKANE COUNTY
CITY OF SPOKANE, a Washington municipal corporation, and its Water, Sewer and
Solid Waste Utility Departments,
Plaintiff, vs. SPOKANE COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State
of Washington, SADIE CHARLENE COONEY, Spokane County Assessor, and STATE OF
WASHINGTON, Defendants.

COMES NOW the City of Spokane, by and through its attorneys JAMES C. SLOANE,
City Attorney, and Robert G. Beaumier, Jr., Assistant City Attorney, and Stevens
County, the Stevens County Assessor and Stevens County Auditor, by and through
their attorney John Wetle, Stevens County Prosecutor, and MOVES the Court for
and ORDER as follows:
1. Permitting the City of Spokane to consolidate pending litigation in Spokane
County, a copy of which is attached hereto as EXHIBIT A with the pending litigation
in Thurston County entitled as above.
2. Permitting Stevens County to also intervene as a party Defendant in said
pending Thurston County litigation.
This Motion is based upon the annexed Declaration of John Wetle and Affidavits
of Spokane City Budget Director Collette Greenwood, and Spokane City Manager
Hank Miggins, the Memorandum of Authorities submitted and the files and records
herein.
