Areas Affected by ESA Listing Salmon Habits and Habitats
Contents
Introduction
The listing of salmon species under the Endangered Species Act affects virtually all rivers, streams and creeks statewide that have historically been used for spawning, including areas where land use affects the water. . The recommendation that has been repeatedly made is "get to know the salmon" - where they live, where they spawn, and the conditions necessary for their survival and restoration.
