ESA Overview - Salmon, Bull Trout, Steelhead, and Rockfish

Introduction

Of the 28 populations of West Coast Salmon and Steelhead listed by the National Marine Fisheries Service, 19 are in the Pacific Northwest. Three Rockfish species are also listed. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service listed Bull Trout (Salvelinus confluentus) which are members of the family Salmonidae and char, native of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Montana and western Canada.
